Starting in September, 2018, Beaches Mental Wellness will offer FREE counselling supports!!


We will host a free MINDFULNESS group session, starting on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, from 5:15pm – 6:45 pm, and which will run on most alternate Tuesdays.

All are welcome.  No need to register, just attend at Community Centre 55 at 97 Main Street in Toronto…and, if you’d like, stay for the Beaches Mental Wellness Peer-to-Peer Support Group meeting afterwards at 7:00 pm.


Also, we will offer free individual therapy sessions starting on Sunday, September 9, 2018.

We are asking anyone interested in those sessions to register.  Anyone who has consistently attended the Beaches Mental Wellness Peer-to-Peer Support Group meetings can register while at the group.


The services are provided by Jane Yoo.  Jane is a Registered Social Worker and holds a Master of Social Work from the Univeristy of Toronto. She has over 6 years of clinical experience in working with individuals, couples and families on a variety of mental health concerns and challenges. She is trained as a mindfulness facilitator and in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Narrative Therapy. Her therapeutic approach is client-centered, strength-based and trauma-informed. She is a compassionate therapist who sees her clients as the experts of their own lives and believes in their inherent strengths and resiliency to enact change.
