What to expect at a group?

What should you expect at a group? People who have “walked a mile in your shoes”…people who KNOW what it is like to face a wellness challenge.

During the one-hour group, you can (but don’t have to) share what your diagnosis is and how your mental wellness has affected your recently.

If you wish, after you have shared, you can get EMPATHY and FEEDBACK from other members. Feedback is simply information about what has worked well for someone else when they were in your shoes. They might say, “When I had that challenge, I found ‘X’ helped”.

VIRTUAL GROUPS – For MAG

These groups, which are private and open only to those who work for the Ministry of the Attorney General, are an excellent way to get support WITHOUT the employer knowing who is attending or what is said. As always, privacy is paramount.
